Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) |
|
Below some of
the most commonly asked
questions from our
customers. If you don't find
the answers you need here,
please
email us. We will
update this list often in
order to provide you with
answers to your questions. |
|
1.) Are your
cages safe for my Pet? |
|
Yes. The
health, safety, and comfort
of your pet is our utmost
concern. All of our cages
are sprayed with only safe,
non-toxic paints and
powder-coating, and tested
for lead and zinc. All cages
are constructed of
wrought-iron (unless
specified otherwise). |
|
2.) Do you
sell parts or hardware for
cages? |
|
Other than
the perches, swings, and
toys listed on this website,
we do not sell parts for
cages. All cages are packed
complete and cannot be
disassembled. We sell only
complete, packaged cages. |
|
3.) Can I pay
by money order? |
Yes. Once you
choose the item(s) you would
like, send your money order
and an itemized list
(including part numbers AND
colors) to:
The Cage Warehouse
3767 E. Broadway Rd., Suite
5
Phoenix, AZ 85040
Be sure to include a
complete shipping address
AND PHONE NUMBER. Your
item(s) will ship as soon as
payment is received. If you
provide an email address we
will notify you of the
shipping status of your
order. |
|
4.) Do you
ship internationally? |
|
At this time,
we do not ship outside of
the domestic United States.
We also do not ship to
Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or
Alaska due to the costs of
air freight to these
locations. |
|
5.) Do you
have a printed catalogue? |
|
This website
represents our entire
product offering. Because we
place such emphasis on
immediate shipping, we limit
the items presented to only
those that we have in stock
and ready for shipping. In
order to ensure the most
competitive pricing
available, we have
concentrated our marketing
efforts primarily on this
website. As new products
become available to us, they
will be available to our
customers online. |
|
6.) What type
of locks are on your cages? |
|
All of
our wrought iron cages
feature a hook and latch
system coupled with gravity
locks to prevent your birds
from opening the door from
the inside. A gravity lock
slides down over the top of
the door frame so that the
door cannot be opened. Our
hook and latch system has
been time-tested as being
durable and long-lasting,
unlike some more complex
spring lock systems, which
generally wear out in about
a year and cannot be
replaced. |
 |
 |
|
7.) What if
my cage is damaged during
shipping? |
|
If you
receive your cage damaged,
please DO NOT RETURN IT TO
US until you have contacted
us and requested a Return
Merchandise Authorization.
Due to the costs of
shipping, most times it is
more efficient to send out a
replacement panel or part
for your cage and have you
keep or discard the damaged
items. |
|
8.) Do your
cages have removable trays
and bottom grates? |
|
All of our
wrought iron cages feature
removable bottom pans and
bottom grates. This ensures
easy and proper cleaning. |
|
9.) Is my
information safe if I use my
credit card to pay online at
your site? |
Once you have
selected an item for your
shopping cart and proceeded
to the "checkout" screen,
you will notice a lock
appear in the bottom right
corner of your web browser.
In addition, the web address
shown in your browser will
change from "http://...." to
"https://...". This
indicates that you are now
in a secure site. This
security is attained through
digital encryption, which
can only be deciphered by a
certified digital key. Most
e-commerce websites work
this way, and it ensures
that your information is
protected while being
transferred.
After we receive your order,
our entire fulfillment
process is done without
producing any paper copies
of your information. Once
your order has been shipped
and charged, your credit
card information is
permanently "masked" in our
system. |
|
10.) Why
don't you have a phone
number to call with
questions? |
|
Unlike retail pet shops, our
business is run completely
online. This is the only way
we can provide the same
high-quality cages to you at
wholesale price levels. This
means we do not have a
brick-and-mortar store, or
the overhead of an office or
staff. This is a family
business, and all we do is
import cages and ship them
to you. Therefore, we do not
have an attended phone since
the only time spend at our
warehouse is for shipping
and receiving. |
If you have
questions about an item,
please
email us
with those
questions or a phone number
so that we can call you.
Email is always the best
form of communication, since
it allows us to answer your
questions promptly without
the complications of
differing time zones and
work schedules.
